Kings of September

CLUB NOTES – 20th November

‘Kings of September’

We’re almost there. The great event will throw in on Saturday night at the County Arms Hotel with the great Brian Cody, Cyril Farrell and Michael Duignan in the hot seat. All Ireland winners Pat Fleury, Daithi Regan, Brian Whelehan and Ken Hogan will provide interesting and insightful backup to keep them on their toes. Impersonator Aidan Tierney of RTE’s ‘Up for the Match’ fame will provide lively entertainment at half-time. Our own Joe Troy of Radio 3 will act as MC. Some tickets are still available from Toni Ryan at 085 1746665 or other committee members. We look forward to a very enjoyable evening.

Good Luck

We wish Rhode every success on Sunday next in their Leinster Club Semi-Final versus Sean O’Mahony’s of Louth.

Sympathy

We extend our condolences to the relatives and friends of the late Maggie Yeates Bailey who died in Australia following a motorbike accident.
