Our graduation ceremony from the underage Liam Lyons Academy was held on Wednesday last. Special guest Offaly Hurler of the Year, Ben Conneely presented certificates to Jack Molloy, MacDara Murphy and Michael Hackett. Liam Lyons, who the academy was named after was also remembered on the night. Liam began his hurling with these lads. His sister Creagh accepted his certificate. Huge thanks to Ben for attending and for his inspirational words of encouragement to the lads. Also thanks to the ladies who provided the refreshments.
The academy will be holding a table Quiz in the hall for underage players on the 27th December at 7;00 in Rath Hall. All invited.
We extend our deepest sympathy to the family relatives and friends of the late, John Buckley Clara.
