The club is seeking hosts for a Come Dine with Me event which will happen on 25th February. This involves hosts inviting friends to their house for a meal for which they contribute €25 each. Due to a clash with other events it is necessary to defer our Annual General Meeting for one week. It will now take place on Friday 20th at 8pm. As a result, nominations, will be accepted until Friday 13th January.
Well done and many thanks to Eoin Lyons and his willing helpers, Jim Ferguson, Fergal Dooley, Paul Guinan, Malcolm Spain and Padraigh McIntyre who worked tirelessly on Friday and Saturday to erect new ball-stops in Scoil Eoin before the start of the new term. This work will enable pupils to play hurling during breaks without fear of injury to others in the vicinity.

Over one hundred people participated in this fun event on St. Stephens Day from the Clubhouse to Killyon. The winner, with fifty pucs was Killian Kiely’s team followed by Kevin Keeneghan’s. Proceeds of €680 went to Rath Area Development. Many thanks to Catherine Troy for refreshments at the Ramblers Rest after what was a most enjoyable day. Read more »
